i walk in, bored. This is a pretty famous venue (G. The opening act is about halfway through their set. They call themselves The Submarines, consisting of Blake Hazard and John Dragonetti, as well as a drummer who wasn't "in" the band, and who looked oddly like Brad Delson (...?) according to wiki, though, he does not play drums (a wannabe!!!) anyway, i'd listened to their songs on my laptop earlier, but the sound was ~oops!~, so i had no idea what to expect. i was blown away. Imagine Modest Mouse. Plus electronica. Plus a second singer. so, Blake, John, and "Brad's" set ended. I waited. i drank five 7ups waiting for the headliner to come on. Finally, they did. Bell X1 had a melancholy, yet humorous set of lyrics. No idea what the F**k i'm talking about? Watch this and the only thing you'llbe saying is: "ill shine for you... then i'll burn for you" They played Rocky took a Lover, and i was stunned. show over. encore. it all happened so quickly.
