New LPU Album (NOT LPU 8.0) Teacks Revealed.

Shoulda post this earlier but w/e. LP announced a while ago that they will be releasing and LPU album (NOT LPU 8 wich will be released for order in December 5th I think) in Best Buy stores on Thanksgiving weekend. Recently in an email to the LPUer, they released the tracks.

Now, Crawling is not an official song from that EP, but an exclusive download for LPU'ers.

My December Live with Chris and hunger Strike isn't on any LPU's either. And I put Crawling because they put it out for download because of the SFU CD release.

Hunger Strike with Chester is released though. It's on Chris Cornell's Youtube channel.

MMM...COOKIES - Sweet Hamster Like Jewels from America! is the eighth Fan Club Album[1] released by Linkin Park to the fan club members of the Linkin Park Underground (LPU). The eighth edition of the fan club was mistakenly released on November 29, 2008 in the United States at some Best Buy stores. The official release is December 4, 2008, though the reason some Best Buy stores released it early was possibly due to the fact that "Songs from the Underground", another EP released by Linkin Park was released on November 29 as well. November 29 was also Black Friday.

Regarding the CD, Shinoda has told fans on the LPU message board:

In previous years, we've released LPU CDs that contain b-sides, live tracks, and lesser-known songs from the band. This year, we have decided to do something totally unprecedented and unexpected. The LPU8 CD contains six totally new, original studio songs that Chester and I recorded in our free time in the past couple of years. But these aren't normal Linkin Park songs. Working on a song for an album is sometimes a lot of work, and occasionally we need some time to unwind. When Chester and I unwind, sometimes we make another kind of lighter, fun song. We call these songs "cookies." I think came from the idea that you get your dessert (your cookies) after you eat all the rest of your meal. The songs on the LPU8 CD are random, silly, and they fall into a variety of styles, from a James-Brown-Meets-Bobby-McFerrin track called "You Ain't Gotsta Gotsta" to a mock electro-club-banger called "26 Lettaz In Da Alphabet."
