Things You (Propably) Didn't Know About METEORA
If you haven't brought it? Or bought? What ever. I mean, if you don't have the official Meteora then here's some things that were on the little lyrics thing inside:
1. Don't Stay was called "Sick" when they were making it; and it had a Reggae-style guitar vibe.
2. Somewhere I Belong's Main Background Sound (lol) is Chester playing acoustic guitar; then Mike took the sample, replayed it, effected it, flipped it backwards and cut it into 4 pieces.
3. Mike came up with the intro sample of Lying From You in a moving bus, and it was an overnight bus drive. However it was re-recorded on studio months later.
4. Faint was originally a really slow song, as Brad came up with an idea about the song. He excepted the BPM (Beats per minutes) to be about 75. When Mike had put together the beat, the BPM came up at 135. They all agreed that the faster beat was more fun.
5. Figure.09 originally had rapping verses, then they changed them to singing verses, however they later swapped rap verses back in, because rapping made the song more interesting. Only Chester heard the new version of the song, others heard it when the album was complete!
6. Mike always wanted to make a lyrics with the idea which Breaking The Habit now has. After 5 years of thinking, band made an interlude to Meteora. The Interlude became a complete song; Breaking The Habit. After 6 years of hard work, Breaking The Habit was finally ready.
7. Nobody's Listening seemed too different from other songs because of the japanese flute, that's why they added singing to choruses so Nobody's Listening would link to other songs.
8. Numb was the easiest song to make; it took almost no time to make.
Woot! Lol, that took like 15 minutes for me to write. DX
So we gotta get these somewhere:
Sick (Don't Stay Demo)
"Interlude"
Original Slow Faint

I'm not sure.KimimaruLPfan wrote:yo, is the art of Meteora movie the same as makinng of Meteora movie?
Re: Things You (Propably) Didn't Know About METEORA
No. The art of Meteora is when they were making the stuff for the lyric book. The cool spray painting. It was an interview, while MOM was actually a documentary.

Lol, acoustic somewhere i belong, i can try to make that, by reversing SIB intro. I'll only need SIB acapella which no one has. Lol.
Huh? LFY sample? did i talk about that too?
Re: Things You (Propably) Didn't Know About METEORA
i know theres a way to substract audio datas from each other, like:
faint - faint-acapella = faint instrumental lol
its possible to do that kind of stuff, so take the guitar at the beginning of SIB, substract it from the orig. song, reverse the sample, and loop it ^^
